transaction he had entered into. This church has its own peculiar
definition of respect - they will not allow photographs to be taken out of
respect. But at the same time they collect a pound from each person who
wants to view Shakespeare's grave! |

Anne Hathaway's famous cottage, in as serene a
location as you will find. Shakespeare used to walk a mile or so from
Stratford to woo her, and you can retrace the path that he probably took

Hard to believe, but narrow canal boats
regularly travel these canals, raising and lowering the lock gates. The
